Military Working Dog

Twenty-seven published authors of mysteries and thrillers!

Four K9 rescue dogs!

One Boston radio personality!

Cocktails and dinner!

Plus: A chance to raise money to support Mission K9 Rescue!

All of this and more awaits you at the Mission K9 Rescue Tribute Gala, set to take place on Saturday, November 14th from 6:00 – 11:00 pm, at the Four Points by Sheraton , 1 Audubon Road, Wakefield, MA 01880.

Come enjoy the company of acclaimed mystery and thriller writers – one of whom will be at every table, seated with nine ticket-buying guests (one of whom could be you). Each attendee will walk away not only having had a conversation with an accomplished author, but also holding a personal, autographed copy of that writer’s book. Most importantly, guests will leave knowing they’ve contributed to the fine work of Mission K9 Rescue, a non-profit organization with locations across the country.

Mission K9 Rescue aims to secure a good retirement and a loving home for “hero” dogs who are leaving their positions as Military Working Dogs or Contract Working Dogs. Military service dogs detect bombs, drugs, weaponry and much more. Mission K9 Rescue provides monetary, transportation and adoption services so that these dogs can be comfortable, and have a safe place to rest and play once they’ve been relieved of their official duties.

With Candy O’Terry of Magic 106.7/Boston as emcee, the gala will feature silent and live auctions. Plus, you’ll be able to meet Mission K9 rescue handlers and dogs.  Tickets for the event are $100 each and can be purchased here.
